A friend approached me with her desire to give her mom and mother-in-law custom stained glass crosses as Christmas gifts. She had researched ideas on-line and had even purchased some stained glass on an auction. After reviewing and discussing her ideas, we decided on two preferred color schemes as well as size and style. Wanting something that would be long-lasting and perhaps passed through generations, we opted to go with leaded glass. What first appeared as a simple and straight-forward job turned into quite the challenge! - LOTS of small cuts and angled lead pieces that would continue to “move” no matter how well I secured them! Nevertheless - the project was completed and I’m pleased with the results.
